The figures from the World Food Program are alarming. Some 795 million people around the world do not have enough food to lead a healthy, active life. Among them are 66 million children attending elementary school in developing countries who are hungry in class.
We know it is difficult to make progress when someone’s chief concern is managing to survive. That is why, looking beyond the figures, with each plate of food we give to the 76,884 beneficiaries of our nutrition programs, we are offering them a ray of hope for a better future.
